I wear many hats—entrepreneur, educator, city councilor, and community leader—but at the heart of it all, I’m someone who believes in making things better, whether it’s a business, a city, or the conversations that shape our future.

I founded Distinct to help small businesses thrive. I teach at DePauw University because I believe in empowering the next generation. I serve on the Greencastle City Council to push for transparency and progress. And I chair the Putnam County Democrats because local politics matter more than most people realize.

This Substack is where all those experiences come together. Here, I’ll share insights on business and leadership, local government transparency, and the real work of building stronger communities. And sometimes, I’ll just talk about life—the small, meaningful moments with family that make it all worth it.
